Hey folks - Neophyte in need. First let me say I've no experience with the several incarnations of Serotta derailleur adjuster braze ons and this is my first brifter experience. (C&V guy) My braze ons are on the head tube. I bought a pair of threaded Serotta derailleur adjusters that won't thread on to the head tube braze ons. The adjusters seem too large and I'm not sure if the braze ons are threaded - if they are, the threads are paint covered or somewhat stripped. Are these braze ons supposed to be threaded? Please let me know (when you stop laughing) what kind of adjuster will work? Data to ID bike below:

2003? Legend Ti
Serial: CTI 51 3136
F1 fork with 1"steerer
Got it with a Serotta Ti quill stem 90 degree
Derailleur braze ons on head tube
Top tube labeled Legend Ti, not just Ti
What I think is called "sizzler" paint scheme, Pearl white and color changing frost blue (that's what it looks like to me)

Hey, thanks - thought it was just me. Sounds like I need to find an M5 nut and get creative. Could put the Dremel to work if I could find one with a large enough OD to shape to fit. Not highly skilled with tapping ... Need practice.
