i know when i first set up my hy/rds, the rear cable that came with my road cable set was too short by a few inches. trp sent me a cable set for free when i was having different issues but now i just want a single replacement inner cable.
can someone recommend a good brake cable that's longer than normal? fwiw, my frame runs the cable down the dt and along the chainstay to the brake.

You could always try tandem bike cables. They will definitely be long enough.

Does 2750mm long enough for your application? I was a fan of Jagwire wire cables but nowadays all of my brakes are hydraulics.

/\ that will work, maybe even be too long.

Any cable will do, the housing should be compressionless, that is important but the cable it should not matter. I am running full length housing and a campy cable was more than enough (I think they are 1600mm)
