What tape lasts and stays white a good bit? Been using Cinelli cork and I like it, but man one humid dusty ride and it goes tan.

Fizik seems to be the consensus on tape, but how does white last?

Thanks all!

As for staying white nothing will compare to leather in my experience

I'll post a vote for white, Special-Ed Roubaix S-Wrap. Looks good, easy to use and easily cleaned if needed.

Meh, the Serotta has white tape with a nice patina, shows you ride. The white saddle has a similar look as well. I've tried different brands including Cinelli, Arundel, Lizard Skins, Fizik, and some others, unless you wear clean gloves and use Simple Green and rag after every ride, they all get dirty.

Fabric rip stop knurl tape cleans up well in white. It's a silicone wrap so the dirt can be cleaned up a bit easier than other bar wraps.

Fizik superlight stays clean but keep in mind that if you live in a humid environment, tape should be changed a minimum of every 2-3 months. My bikes are stored in the garage and after a couple of months all tapes smell pretty bad. Any longer than that and they start to corrode the bars.

Fizik microtex. 2mm super light stuff.

No need to over think it. Stays bright way longer than the cork stuff.

The Fizik tacky stuff SUCKS SO BAD!
Feels so good but it looks so bad after just 1 ride.
But their faux leather stuff is great.

... white tape with a nice patina, shows you ride...

This. Expecting white tape to remain new looking is unrealistic. Dirty white tape is the sign of a bike THAT'S BEEN RIDDEN, and that's hardcore.

That's why I roll with white tape.

Fizik Microtex white tape resists looking grungy for a long time...easily lasts 12-18 months for me (7-10K mi).

when dingy, it restores nicely with basic household cleaning products.

ESI silicone tape. A soapy sponge cleans it up great

Another vote for Fizik Microtex. I can go 18 months / 7,500 miles or so and it still looks good.

I've had really good luck with the white of Fizik's new 'Endurance Classic' tape this summer. This is the same Microtex material mentioned numerous times above, but slightly thicker at 2.5mm vs the 2mm Superlight.

Still looks new after 400 miles and tons of dirt, sweat, and grease. Wipes clean every time.
