Seen some De Rosa pantographed Nitto components like stems and seatposts on eBay that are advertised as "DeRosa Japan Official".

distribution contracts for specific markets. looks like De Rosa allows/allowed manufacturing/selling of specific parts by the japanese distributor to be branded and sold in Japan. then the internets gets there and distribution is now worldwide... :D

THe engraving looks good to me, the guy that painted that couldnt figure it out that you have to drop the paint and then clean it with a rag at the top so it gets super clean and flush :)

Maybe, the job is super sloppy, so sloppy that sucks! :D Paint engraving stuff is easier than it looks.

I'm certainly no expert but what looks like deep engraving on a frame tube just doesn't seem right.
