Anyone using wide/u shaped rims on a Z5? Wondering about clearance.

Thanks

It's not great in the back. I was using HED Belgiums with 25mm GP 4Seasons on my 2011-ish Z5 and they were ok. 28s wouldn't have fit comfortably.

25 vittoria cx clincher or various conti (gp 4k or 4-season) clincher on either of dt alu, mavic open pro or enve carbon rims, no issues (using sram red brakes, prior gen 10 spd). 28's, eh, that might be snug. can't vouch for that.

Parlee z5sl size medium frame, 24mm wide rims with conti GP 4season 25s
2-3mm side clearance, tire to chainstay, each side.

My wife's Z5 can fit 25mm tires on a 20mm rim. More than that, amd you'd have less than the 3mm clearance she prefers.
