A buddy who is a researcher, wants to make up some t-shirts for his work team for a presentation they have to do. They want one of those 'sex' slogans, like:
"Researchers Do It With......"
or
"Qualitative Researchers Do It With......"
Can any of you folks with a good imagination help out?!!!

Me thinks a t-shirt with "Earth First" on the front, and "We'll research the other planets later." on the back with their logo if they have one.

Really, though- as a mainly quantitative but also mixed-methods science education researcher I like to poke fun at both "camps." The whole sharp-line distinction is a false dichotomy perpetuated by those that can't use whichever method best suits the present context. It's partly an issue of insecurity.
That said, how about: "Qualitative researchers do it while gazing at their navels" and "Quantitative researchers do it without knowing why they're doing it." ;) (Hopefully you get the latter :) ).

QUALITY ASSessment: do it with a researcher.
Qualitative researchers do it holistically.
Qualitative researchers do it in depth.

Others suggestions are good, but I believe that one retires the cup.
When I was a young sports writer, we had shirts made that said "Sports writers watch other people do it."
