Thought this one would need its own thread ...

Wireless levers control a wired pair of derailleurs. What's interesting is not that but the derailleur, which is the first non-parallelogram rear I've seen.

GCN has a good unveiling here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx8TacbOddw) and a first look here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jr9vAPmp_OM).

I'll be interested to see what it (functionally) brings to the party. According to what I was reading last night, it isn't lighter than eTap or Di2 and it is priced between them, so I am not sure what would push someone toward FSA over those other options.

More options is always a good thing, I am just curious as to what their differentiator is going to be.

OEM..they are going to make frame builders a deal they can't refuse..I guess it isn't technically 'dumping', selling below cost but it actually is..

^^^That was my first thought when my friend sent me that unveiling article a few days ago: "Priced between eTap and Di2 ...unless you buy in bulk!"

Yup! You gotta think outside of the box, past your personal interests. Which FSA have done!

FSA, the name in "I'm going to replace that first" on OEM bikes.

The RD is innovative but unless they come in with price or weight differentiators there isn't any incentive for anyone to be an adopter over the more mainstream alternatives.

The application interface is neat but the others will get there

The shift rocker buttons are a good take on the button issue

That crank looks ugly to me and I like the new campy four arm

What makes you think that this is a non-parallelogram derailleur? This derailleur looks a lot like the Suntour Superbe Tech from over 30 years ago:

The Superbe Tech used an internal parallogram, and based on the motion of the FSA derailleur, I see no reason to think that it isn't similar.

I'm interested. Not going to buy, but interested to see what it does. I think more players in the groupset game might be a good thing.

What I think I would buy, though, is Rotor's group. Wonder which we'll actually see for sale first. I'm guessing FSA...

Rotor Uno has been taking pre orders and is scheduled to ship next month.

Really? That's not what the folks at Rotor had said when I last spoke to them. that's exciting.

Hopefully they're not blowing smoke this time. In May I heard August.

Dealing with rotor has been weird for me. Maybe I just have bad luck. I'd been on the phone to order a small part for a customer and asked about uno. The person on the other end just kinda said it'd be a while before it was available.
Perhaps it's because I don't do much business (1 crankset a year?) and didn't pre-order

I guess Tiso didn't parent the ticker arm gig...
