I don't recall what year these calipers are as I've had them for a long time (Campy Chorus, dual pivot F&R). Moved from bike to bike. Which Kool-Stop pads fit?

1999 and earlier

Nice Merlin!

I have some brand new kool stop campi 2000 pads. If you happen to work downtown and want to grab them off me you can put them on. If they fit, buy me a replacement pair. If not just give em back.

Thanks! Already ordered a C89 set, but interested to see if much of a difference between the Campi 2k pads in re to fit. Will post a pic of the pads when I get them.

I've used the Koolstop pad/holder combo for some post-2000 Chorus- and Record-D brakes, and those were pretty darn nice. The come with or used to come with a spare set of pads also.

I have a set of those calipers and I'll check later to see if the post-2000 pads will fit. Jeez I'm dense sometimes.

I can mail them to you, if they work you can paypal me 15 bucks for the set of 4

you need what I call the foot ball type, the newer ones are more rectangular and curved to match the rim profile

If you have '9s' brakes, they will not.

And for right above, I got some KoolStop salmon for my Centaur brakes on my wet weather bike and they are noisy and quick wearing, dry conditions. ymmv but I much prefer either OE type or Jageite, yes I know how to toe them but they have worn so quickly, they get flat pretty quickly.

on at least one of my campy bikes, i just got new pad holders from jagwire that use the shimano typed pad.

incidentally the jagwire "wet weather" pads are excellent, been using them for a while now. my local REI carries them, and absolutely nothing remotely campy.

Yes, the differential brakes use a diff pad shape, more rectangular than the earlier dual-pivots. C89 it is.

I dig the salmon pads; the black/salmon combo pads are swell too.
