The national news on TV makes is sound as if Spokane is in the middle of hell. Our fires, while moderately large, so far are mainly smokey and in pretty rural areas. One of the bigger ones is in wheat fields.

Dave...next time put that stogie out and don't toss it out the hole in the back of your trailer home. You could burn the whole park down if you're not careful.

I didn't see anything about (potential) causes for the 4(?) fires. Anyone hear?

It's pretty danged smoky...too much for me to ride for now.

The only cause I've seen is a downed power line for the fire southeast of town.

I heard a downed power line from the strong winds that passed though yesterday. At least the one I took shots of.
