Stream if you can. Viviani, Cav Gaviria etc.. with the format, this is for gold.

Thanks for the heads up. You need to be a mathematician to race this event.

That was the one event in the whole of the Olympic cycling program I wanted to see and I lucked into catching it on TSN out here in Bermuda! Awesome race and Viviani really deserved the win! Great stuff!

Always amazes me when folks say track cycling is boring. It's anything but!

The crash. No relegation.

chapeau to Hansen for fighting hard to get back in contention. Now you wonder had he not gone out as the first rider in the elimination race, perhaps he could have placed higher...

also good on Viviani to finally get a big victory on the track

Are you allowed to just ride down and crash right in to another rider? It looked purposeful. The commentators were only talking about how Cav stayed upright and didn't say anything was done wrong.

One rider going down the other going up. A little more coming down.

I watched the video again and Cav looked at Viviani twice before changing direction down into him. When the collision occurred Cav didn't look surprised or phased at all. I don't know the rules but that doesn't seem okay.

Should have been relegated. Apologizing is just too little, too late. Hope you're proud of that tarnished silver medal Cav.

And a great ride for silver from Sarah Hammer. Trott is untouchable but Sarah covered every move in the points to grab silver.

Finally saw the crash... honestly, there is no way in hell you would not know what you did. You can feel the body of the other guy over your bike, actually the pressure of it but even if you did not feel that you can hear the noise. IMO Cav f.. ed up. Even he ignores them big time.

Even when you are in a group of 10 or 20 riders in the track if somebody has a crash in the back of the group and you are in the front you can hear the noise perfectly, no idea about a closed track like the one in the olympics tho but I will assume that you can hear something.

Again... bad stuff from cav, probably heated up because he was coming back home with nothing (gold)?
