Hey all,

No idea how many of you are familiar with Rudi from Black Magic Paint (@blackmagicpaint on Instagram > blackmagicpaint.com) but he has painted for numerous custom frame builders and Parlee as well. I don't know Rudi, but everyone says he is a top-shelf guy all the way.

He was involved in a serious motorcycle accident on the last day of a moto-vacation A deer ran out in the middle of the road and took him out, and now he is going to spend the next four months of his life in a hospital. He had to be airlifted to Reno and is in ICU.

More on the story here...if you can kick in even the smallest amount to help a fellow cyclist (and moto-head for some of you, Im sure) and a guy that helps us make our bikes look so damn sharp, please do.

If anyone knows him or those close to him, they should post something about this on his instagram feed. I know I follow him there, and looks like he's got over 3,700 followers as of this writing. Might help his cause with a sympathetic following.

That's a great point, I just hit up one of his friends about that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Was just coming here to post this.

I cannot say more nice things about Rudi, he's treated me like a life-long friend since the day I met him.
He painted my road bike (https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/379/18797737343_791f3aedf1_b.jpg) and recently signed on as a sponsor of the CX team I am starting up this fall.

If you have anything you can spare, he will appreciate it more than you can imagine.

I had my booth next to him at the Oregon Handmade Bike and Beer Fest last October. Yes, top notch guy (and some awesome paint work!).
