Anyone have any experience with the Fizik Volta? I know that saddle fit is very personal but I was just checking.
I've come to the conclusion that the new "flat" cross section saddles are not a good fit. The side edges tend to rub the inside of my upper legs raw. I now have a friction saddle sore (as opposed to an infection) on one side that I can't get rid of...even when I stopped for a two week vaycay, it came screaming back as soon as I got back on the bike.
I'm grasping at straws. I'm hoping that the old style round profile and lower edges might decrease the abrasion on the sore spot.
Any suggestions for other new saddles that might have a rounder profile and deep sides?
I know someone will suggest a SMP or Brooks, but really, I'd like to try to stay with a racing saddle. Other than the abrasion, I'm OK with regular, modern saddles.
