11 speed Campy braze on FD with generic clamp

Use any clamp..Problem solvers, Miche, Campag,even (gasp) shimano if 31.8/34.9 BUT Campag one is best, IMHO.

No worries, some frames actually come with their own clamp. My Cyfac did.

Ok. I'll confess the reason I may not go Campy is cuz it appears it only comes in black from the few searches I did.
Just can't have that with my alloy Athena and I don't wanna do the oven cleaner thing.

been using older (pre-2015) braze on FDs with generic clamps bought on eBay for several years now. I found it rather difficult to find a 28.6mm clamp and am not a fan of using bigger clamps with spacers.

You'll be fine. Currently using a Shimano clamp with no issues. Bike hasn't burst into flames or anything.

Ummm, that's the other thing.
Don't actually need one now. I just plan on getting Athena silver parts before they are off the market and I figured a braze on was safer way to go.
