wooee. I would not want to be around Van Dijk right now. She looked so pissed when Armstrong came in and bumped her out of the medals.
Slow motion bush whacking (https://twitter.com/Sportnieuwsnl/status/763348087444307968/video/1).

Windy and rain, wow.
Also the male commentator sounds just like Peter Sellers. So now we have Inspector Clouseau doing cycling. LOL

I'm assuming cbc isn't open outside Canada, but if you can VPN with a Canadian IP: http://olympics.cbc.ca/video/vod/cycling-road-730.html

I don't know if everyone can access this (http://www.wsj.com/articles/rio-2016-kristin-armstrong-the-comeback-queen-1470862772) WSJ article, but it's a neat write up on Kristin Armstrong.

Road time trials are boring. I'd much rather watch a track pursuit or kilo, but sadly the UCI and IOC don't agree.

What wheels was Cancellara running? They were surprisingly unbranded for bontrager wheels...
Lot of people had lightweight rear discs.

Well, there are pursuits and kilos in the Omnium... as far as standalone events goes, the one I really miss from the Olympic program is the madison. now that's good watchin'.

Looks like a Zipp disc, which he's ridden in the past. Bontrager doesn't make a disc wheel.
I also saw some Specialized riders riding HED discs, since Spec obviously doesn't make discs either.
