Does SRAM make a 32/36t XD cassette?
I dont feel like combing through their website.

Im assuming not, but I really wish they would.
They do not. (https://www.sram.com/sram/mountain/component/cassettes)

-----
Trying to use a set of Rise XX tubular wheels for cx but they only make a 10s or XD freehub for em...so my choices are running a ridiculous 42t cassette or using them for singlespeed only (not the end of the world).

Anyone have any luck with one of those 11s-on-a-10s-freehub cassettes?

I know of the edco cassette but was hoping there might be another option out there...

This freehub has no nubs on the base and sits flush with the hub flange, so filing or machining stuff is not an option.

Your 2c is much appreciated, thanks!

Token also does one

Would certainly like to find a good option myself - so many good 10-speed wheels for sale...

You can subtract a cog and add a spacer on the inside to make an 11s cassette work on a 10sp FH body. I don't have the spacer dimension on the top of my head but if you search here I think I posted it before.

yikes, that token is even pricer than a edco...

i wish this design would go more mainstream, just the cantilever'd top couple cogs, would be VEEEEEEEEERY popular id think.

yea i would just be using this wheelset along 3-4 other 11s wheelsets, so its gonna be 11.

ill probably just designate it for SS duty and call it a day, these cassettes are too damn pricey.

Here's the original 'how-to' i saw:

http://darkspeedworks.com/blog-11speed.htm

but yeah, you probably wouldn't want to put it in the rotation with your other 11sp wheels unless you a) want to adjust the limit screw every time or b) are REALLY careful about not using that extra click...

I've looked for the same thing. I've also built bikes with 10s because that's what I had for wheels.

I was hoping sram would make smaller sized cassettes for road that utilize the XD driver..

The Wheels manufacturing Accelerator cassette converted my 10 speed Dura Ace 7850 hubs to 11 and match my DA 9000 11 speed. I don't even have to turn the cable adjuster on the derailler.

@steelbikerider am I missing something? I don't see a product on the Token site to convert shimano 10 to shimano 11. I see the shimano 10 to campagnolo 11. Is that what you mean?

These 11-32t SunRace RS3 (http://www.walmart.com/ip/SunRace-RS3-11-Speed-11-32T-Cassette/160510329?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=374&adid=22222222227039923979&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=98280180634&wl4=pla-225989166754&wl5=9014225&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=111839935&wl11=online&wl12=160510329&wl13=&veh=sem) cassettes are listed as compatible with road 10s freehubs. Worth a call to one of the retailers to confirm. Not too big of a gamble for $40.

I machined 1.85mm of the back of an Ultegra cassette. If I want to use it on 11 speen wheels I add a spacer.

I've seen this a few places as well. Seems like a decent fix..

That cassette only has 10 cogs.

Well, shuck my corn.

I wonder if that's just a bad stock photo.

Would that work if the base of the freehub/cassette already sits flush with the hub flange?

Yeah, you might be right:
http://www.sunrace.com/en/products/detail/csrs3
does have 11 cogs. It would be cool if this worked.

I bought the wheels Accelerator cassette for my Dura Ace 7850 hubs, The Wheels Manufacturing site says for Campy 11 speed. According to Leonard Zinn at Velonews, all 11 speed cassettes are spaced similarly enough that all will shift with other 11 speed deraillers regardless of brand. The accelerator cassette on a 10 speed hub makes it an 11 speeds. It works just fine on a DA 9000 set up with no adjustment needed. You may to to play with the included spacers to get it just right but I could not detect a difference in shifting performance with an Ultegra 6800 or the Accelerator cassette.

The manufacturer part number matches that 11s link so I'm thinking it's a bad stock photo. I'd buy one to try, but all my hubs are currently 11s road compatible.

hmmm, might be worth it for science...worst case scenario i end up with a potentially crappy 11s cassette for my trainer ;)

Pay close attention to the model number. It may be that the RS3 has a carrier that allows the 11s 11-32t to be mounted on an 8/9/10 freehub that the RX does not. Note that eBay item doesn't indicate freehub compatibility.

based on the looks of it, the black colored one has a better shaped carrier, would you agree?

Of the two pictured in the eBay ad, I would agree.

What is this "trainer" thing you speak of?

And, is the 4t up from a 36t cassette that much of an issue? I can see 8t going from 11-32-->11-40.. Like I said, I've been wondering why SRAM hasn't made 11-32/36 XD cassettes for a while..

Wouldn't an 11s shimano MTB cassette work? Not sure what ratios are available but they fit on 9/10 speed FHs.

the trainer is that expensive toy i bought months back that my girlfriend uses every day...ive used it 4 times haha

ideally it would just have a 28t, but i figure 36t would be more reasonable for sram to actually produce. might just take a stab at that sunrace and see what happens.

I have one of those as well, I just go ride outside instead.

Looking forward to see how this works out.
