I picked these up from a friend at an LBS last week, only to find the free hub won't accommodate an 11 speed cassette. Clean, true, beautiful. Cassette is 12/21, 9 speed. Tires hold air, but probably haven't been ridden since Marco died. Oh do I wish I had a bike for these wheels. Bearings spin Campy smooth, spoke count is 24/24. More close ups available upon interest. Did I mention beautiful??
$250 + actual shipping. Will ship anywhere.

Not to dissuade a sale, but check with OldPotatoe. I think those just need an axle swap to accept 11 spd cassettes.

Can you post a picture of the freehub? Looks like there is a 9sp cassette on there now, and, AFAIK, Campagnolo 9-10-11 are identical.

Nope. Had a set; nice wheels. 10 spd cassettes fit, but they won't go to 11.

Some don't. There's a small run of Campy hubs -- and these may be ones -- from that late 8-speed/early 9 speed era that could handle up to 10 speed, but 11 was a no-go. OldP has mentioned this elsewhere, but if I recall correctly for these hubs a axle/bearing swap is all thats needed to use a freehub that will take 9-10-11 cassettes.

Had the clincher version of these - such classic looking wheels!

Remember read about this type of hubs, the nucleon 10s in some early models had the same problem. When you put the 11 cassette it goes too deep, and touch the hub/spokes area.

Would love to have this ones... darn...!
