Switching saddles on my Merckx and I need a post longer than my c-record to make things work. Thinking of going with the Ritchey Classic 2-bolt... Any better options?

Nitto has a line of posts that might do the trick for you.

how long does it need to be?
if you're not wanting to spend a lot of money, soma makes a pretty nice classic looking post that has been working well for me.

Atleast 300mm. I like the nitro S83 but it seems like it out of stock everywhere...

I don't think I'm cool enough for a simworks post. They look like a rebranded s65...

Any one of these (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=190738&highlight=seatposts) three in the classifieds would do very well.
