Ritchey Timberwolf VS. P650b

has anyone tried either or both of these frames? I kind of wish the p650b had better tire clearance and was through axle. The timberwolf has better clearance and is through axle, but the 140 travel hardtail idea seems a bit wacky to me.

what are your experiences with these frames, and which would you choose?

It's not the lightest bike, but for what I do with it, it's irrelevant
