bike share bikes - the little things...

i was in Portland for the week, and was musing that their mousetrap for locking up the bikes is brilliant. a lock built right into the frame that you can lock to a pole while you've got the thing rented. this makes a LOT of sense. our NYC bikes do not have such a feature, and would be quite useful. just an observation.

We've got bike share in Fargo now (busiest bike share program in the country btw) and they have coil cable locks attached to the front basket. Pretty handy!
