I just received the DVD that was produced by the organizers of the '06 Moab Skinny Tire Festival for the rider participants as a way to thank them for their participation. The festival is sponsored by the LAF and their cause "to inspire and empower people with cancer to live strong". It's a powerful grassroots movement and the DVD gave me a moment to once again take pause for reflection.
Most any cause out there today is a very worthy cause. In addition to the support of whatever cause each participant is helping to build, I believe it also helps strengthen our humanity and create a bond of love and peace that is so lacking in our world today.
I have ridden numerous times for pediatric AIDS, a cause that hits right inside the core of my family. If you have ridden the Triple Bypass, then you've helped to support that cause too. Thanks.
