Just as a heads up, Pricepoint seems to be liquidating their website. It's slim pickings but I just picked up road tubes for around a $1 each and Maxxis Ardent for $24.

Link to the tube deal:

Does anyone know if they are going out of business? It seems likely, but couldn't find anything definitive...although the email I got from them today certainly makes it seem likely "EVERYTHING MUST GO!! - SAVE Up To 99%! Quantities ARE Limited and Moving"

Just bought 20 MTB tubes with removable cores for $25. I'm set for a while.

Too bad they're going out of business, though.

Yes, their wording has been a little unclear...but on Monday, my email said three days left. Just didn't specify what happens when the three days were up.

I used to go only to PricePoint to buy my tubes because they are really one of the cheapest around that I have found after much research. But I have also found that their tubes are some of the most "fragile" or vulnerable to pinch, cut or leaks. I guess you get what you pay for. And then, I started patching my own tubes and that reduces the need to keep restocking. Anyway, I just bought another batch from them a few minutes, the price is "too good but it's true" I guess. With this recent liquidation, maybe we will hear more from others who have experienced failures :p

Great company and hope everyone the best.

I took delivery of a box of tubes yesterday, and knocking on word, will continue to experience good luck with them. Being the NOVA/DC area, I have plenty of opportunities to test the fragile nature of tubes due to road/trail conditions plus my superpower to find the single pothole in the road to hit :crap:

Specialized gets the "worst tubes purchased" award from me. The price is too high and more times than not - seriously - the tube has some sort of defect (primarily around the valve).
