Lost an incredible storyteller and according to those who worked with him, a generous and fine man.

RIP Garry Marshall.

Speaking for my Mom, my chick friends and me as a chick, who hasn't had some ice cream and watched one of his shows or movies? Or as a dude who hasn't been forced to eat ice cream with your chick to watch one of his movies together?

Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Happy Days...the list goes on and on.

He had a long and storied career making some of the most watched tv shows and movies and had an incredible ability to select talent that would become stars. He also directed numerous operas, including one in San Antonio for the company my mother works with. She visited him in LA a few years later, and he greeted her warmly and treated her like a longtime friend. RIP.
