There's often some decent questions in the "Ask Bobke" segment and the one asked this evening was interesting. What if Quintana was riding for Sky, and Froome was riding for Movistar...what would be the results for this years TdF?

Same results so far. Quintana gets to ride behind the Sky Train, as do the other GC riders. Froome would get to do the same behind Sky if he was on another team.

Great riders can win without great teams.

LeMond in 1989, for example.

I think nothing changes, Froome is just that strong.

Yeah, agree I think froome is the stonger of the two regardless.

I think the more interesting related question is what would happen if Quintana had access to Sky/Froome's doping regimen.

Unless Quintana does better in the ITT, Froome still is ahead. Quintana lost 2:05 to Froome.

For right above..take out the ITT, I guess Moviestar has a doping program too..since the day before the ITT, the top 10 riders could be covered by about 2 minutes of time or less.

1 Christopher Froome (GBr) Team Sky 57:11:33
2 Adam Yates (GBr) Orica-BikeExchange 0:00:47
3 Bauke Mollema (Ned) Trek-Segafredo 0:00:56
4 Nairo Quintana (Col) Movistar Team 0:01:01
5 Romain Bardet (Fra) AG2R La Mondiale 0:01:15
6 Alejandro Valverde (Spa) Movistar Team 0:01:39
7 Tejay Van Garderen (USA) BMC Racing Team 0:01:44
8 Fabio Aru (Ita) Astana Pro Team 0:01:54
9 Daniel Martin (Irl) Etixx - Quick-Step 0:01:56
