Most of the folks here from Rhode Island and Southern New England will know this place. It's a staple here and they still make doughnuts the old fashion way. Just sharing since it's an interesting look into a local icon as well as a look back in history and an old school take on working.

the values and thinking that prevailed years ago! it will be interesting to see where our society ends up when our grandchildren take over? thanks for sharing!

I had no idea of this place but I really enjoyed watching this documentary. Kinda shed a tear or two listening to Allie's wife talk about her hardworking husbands work ethic. Not to mention the loss of their first born son at such an early age whilst working. Just a really awesome slice of life here. True hero of the American Dream.
