to listen to them when i dont have cell coverage? ideally i would like to load them to a sony mp3 player and listen on the train, which is underground - with no signal....

Sheesh they don't make it easy do they?

Looks like subscribe on itunes...perhaps drag it to your MP3 player after that.

You could simply record the podcast straight from the stream with Audacity. You will need to be sure the correct input method is selected depending on your setup.

sony mp3

?? may need to move on from that. i'm almost certain that your phone has more capabilities than that.

site says that the rapha episodes are rest day specials of the regular Telegraph Cycling Podcast. just subscribe to that in whatever podcast handler you use to get the dailies. it says rapha team members get their specials but I'm not so I don't know how they handle that. perhaps if you're a member the mp3 is available for manual download?

Last time I used iTunes, you were able to manually add podcasts by typing in the rss feed for it (https://audioboom.com/channels/1405050.rss in this case). You can also use soundcloud, it's another service many podcasters use to upload their shows. The app will allow you download as well I believe

I use Feedly to manage RSS subscriptions, you can then just rightclick>save as to get the MP3s onto your device or hard drive.
