I am wondering if anybody has tried or heard anything about their bib shorts. Thanks.

Haven't tried but have fondled them in hand - and are very nice. The team is ex Assos and Arcteryx... so they have high end sports stuff in their blood. Their bibs and shorts and rain coat are on my list of things to try.

Semi local to me based out of Squamish BC.

Best chamois and chamois attachment method I've experienced. I would put the material slightly under Assos since I like the Assos compression better. Low cut in the front which I appreciate from a feel/sweat/bathroom perspective.

I highly recommend them.

Check out this post (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showpost.php?p=1757768&postcount=66) which appears on page 5 of a previous (fairly exhaustive ) thread on bibs (http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=168257&highlight=7mesh).

Have a pair. Agree with above statement that it's probably the best method of attaching the pad to the main body I've experienced. Feels better than the method used on the Assos Equipe S7 bibs, which I also own.

External material feels nice, though I prefer the feeling of compression of from the Assos.

Not a fan of the silicone treated fabric of the leg grippers. There's a weird transition from the body fabric to the gripper fabric that can result in a bit of "sausage leg," but on the plus side, the legs don't creep or ride up.

Sizing feels a bit off to me. According to their size chart, I should be wearing XS according to my waist measurement. Tried those, but could feel seems straining as I pulled them on and my legs would not fit easily through the gripper opening. Exchanged for S, grippers still seem a little on the narrow side, but work well enough, although the straps feel a bit too long: with my other bibs, I can feel the straps providing support and slightly pulling the bibs up. With the 7Mesh bibs, the straps are at a length where they're just "there." They support the bibs well enough, but I don't feel as much pull as any of the other bibs I own.

I still use them regularly. And when I bought my pair they were indeed running one size larger than comparable Assos. That was a while ago, so I would check on current sizing charts. The chart at competitive cyclist was spot on for me. The pad is the best thing about the bibs.

Also, the first time you put these bibs on, you will hear a pop sound, like stitches ripping off. That was documented by the manufacturer as when they are sewing the pads on, they place positioning, temporary, stitching that will pop out the first time you put them in. This is normal.

Now the bad news for these bibs is that for the going prices of the Assos bibs from overseas, I'd see no reason to select this product.

From competitive Cyclist. According to a rep, they consider Assos, Rapha and these to be the top tier bibs.

I just checked Competitive and two things:

-Sizing chart is the same
-They are cheaper now, before they were $250
