The route of the Tour now favors guys like Evans, Landis and Leipheimer. And George. And (!) Julich. (Wouldn't that be a hoot.)
I don't see a whippet who sucks at TT (Valverde, Rasmussen, Mayo) winning.

Jens Voight? Will lose some time in the mountains but he's still a pretty good climber (better than George for sure) - and he can for sure TT well.

If Julich took over as team leader, that woud count as a silver lining.
Discovery is back to having the strongest team, though no super condition leader [read now as doped] but thats good, cause if they did, he'd get banned, too.

Riders who were hoping for a stage win, may be dreaming of yellow. Could there be another Cunego v. Simoni battle? Maybe Eki could be the oldest winner; would he be?

All the bets that were made a week ago . . . where do people's picks stand now?
Floyd on the top of the podium. Leiphiemer is now in the top 10 (looks like I owe some people some wine).
