Probably an odd question but does anyone know of a place that will replace or repair velcro? I get very attached to cycling things that I really like. My Sidi shoes and I have been through a lot together and it would be a shame to retire them just because the velcro on the straps are worn.

Just about any shoe repair place can do this..Boulder has one, Perry's, that does this.

I had some repaired at a shoe repair place on Reservoir Ave in Cranston a few years ago. No problem.

I've done this DIY. It's not rocket science. Just peel off the old, scrape the glue a bit and clean the surface with acetone, thinly spread some good, flexible contact cement on both surfaces, let dry a bit and press together using some sort of clamp. You usually only need to replace the loop portion.
