PERSONAL GOLD
USA 2015 | 89 min.
Dir. Sky Christopherson, Tamara Christopherson
Personal Gold is a behind-the-scenes experience of four women cyclists leading up to the 2012 Olympics. These underdog women become America’s only hope for a medal after the men’s team is banned during the Lance Armstrong drug scandal. Severely underfunded, the women utilize resourceful DIY approaches to tweak their bodies to higher performance, as they attempt to do the impossible; win the first U.S. Women’s Track Cycling medal in over 20 years.
