He did it. 13:22:51. Previous record was 14:11:37. 2700miles 190,000 feet of climbing.

Very impressive. Even more impressive, imo, are the singlespeeders currently in 2nd and 3rd place, Chris Plesko and Kevin Jacobsen.

Amazing. I'm guessing he had a lot of heat to deal with. Not sure how you can keep hydrated in the remote parts of this race.

Fixie Dave was working at the bike shop where I bought my Ti SS 29er. I should have had him sign it. I watched him race the Leadville 100 on his fixie, too. Tough guy.

Chris Plesko just finished. 2nd place overall. He completed the 2712 miles in 15:08:04 averaging 176.9 miles a day on a singleside.
