A friend was going through his photo albums and started to dig out the embarrassing photos. This one of the better ones..... The bike is a Dacorrdi SLX frame with Campag Super Record mechs and brake calipers, Record hubs on GEL280s and Wolber Neo Pro tubs, Simplex gear levers, Aero Gran Compe brake levers, Cinelli 64 bars and 1R stem and a Record C seat pin and a Rolls Titano saddle.

Very cool. I was thinking earlier based on your friend's track suit. Do you have a picture of the car? I've never seen shark gills on the rear quarter panel.

I think the car was an Opel Monza from about 86

From back in the day when you could mix and match components from different manufactureres for an ideal set up and it could all work perfectly without too much difficulty! We all wanted something just a little bit different from the next guy.

That is a great picture anymore history behind it or any good racing stories? I also like the Alfa Romeo jersey I had one that didn't fit and gave it to a up and coming junior he loved too.
Have a great day.

You've got to be good to fool about when racing and get away with it
