Issues with Bulltek?

About 2.5 weeks after I placed an order with Bulltek, still waiting for shipping confirmation. I've followed up twice - the answer is some varation on "your order will be shipping in a few days".
I'll be calling again today - the order was for several items, so i can understand if these guys are hand to mouth from distributors, and this is delaying things - but that's not the explanation they're giving.
In contrast I ordered boots from another retailer this Monday - they are scheduled to arrive today (and shipping was free).
Anyway my batsense is tingling - I'm wondering if my experience is unique.

I have done biz with Bulltek in the past, but I was well aware that they are a small, home based mail order house. They do not stock most of their items and one must wait longer than the big ones (Excel, etc.).

My order also took 2 weeks to arrive (some tires). But I was not in a hurry...

I didn't realize their turn around was this long - thanks for the feedback.


Got an email today to say the order shipped, so all is cool.
