Today was the first day that I have had the pleasure to see one in the flesh and even better it was for a customer. They had picked out all the finish work
and what not but was happy to see one with a natural weave. My first impression was exactly what I had been expecting. Flawless and very modest.
On second inspection I realized that it was a very beautiful thing and I might only see a handful in my lifetime. Then the thing that really struck me was my overall lack of excitement. But then I thought about my first custom bike and my experience. I couldn't count the amount of Ti bikes that I have seen but mine was special because it was made for me. I guess when it is all said and done my jubilence will come back when I see the owners face looking at his prized gem for the first time. Just sharing such unique experiences with others is beyond my words and I know that they will have many great summers enjoying their new bike.
