Senor Obtusmo -- the device arrived.

like all things campy, it is simple, beautiful, and bomb proof. a quick 35 on the worst roads around here, and nothing moved. lovely.

now I just have to get rid of the 20mm pommel on top of my stem....

anyone want a Ritchey WCS 31.6? imho, pos. iyho, pretty good, possibly. PM me.

I remember in 98 when record
went carbon and everyone flipped
there lid about how it would break
and blah blah blah. Eventually many
did but hey look at the revolution it
created. :fight:

Senor Fat:

I pray on the alter that is the Campy seatpost each day.

A thing of beauty and support, much like my wife!

c'mon. its just a seatpost.
really, it just holds the seat from crashing down.
nothing special there.

Yeah, and it doesn't provide nearly the performance of an integrated post.

Instead, Campy Record/Chorus posts give you the simplicity of a one-bolt clamp and extra fine adjustment serrations.

no question. the kalloy does the same for $20.
i freely admit the campy looks nicer and is lighter.
