So I was browsing eBay and ran across a bike I've been lusting after for many years... and it's not even a "fancy" bike, but I'm a plain kinda guy I guess

So, I'm currently waiting on this 2007ish Salsa La Raza in Vino Rojo colors!

looks great!

what is it about the la raza that's give it bucket list status, i dont know much about them? what's the tire clearance like on these, or is it a pure road bike? i like it!

always been a Salsa guy and the La Raza, especially in this color, has been a must have bike for me... not really sure why, just like the look I guess... I believe it should easily fit a 28mm... I may find it rides much like my Black Mountain, the numbers are very similar...

I made a low offer that I wouldn't think would be accepted and it was.... :D

I had one for a while and loved it. The color has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Just stunning. And with the cream panels ... classic. Enjoy!

A La Raza was once on my bucket list too. When I lived in CT, I rode with a guy who had one. It was very nice, practical and stealthy. In a world of carbon bikes, you show up with that, and you're under the radar. LIKE!

I like that its elegant, low-maintenance, and usable - nice kind of a bike to long for.

Happy riding!

Thanks!

I have an older silver SRAM Force group to hang on it for right now, but am thinking DuraAce 7800 or silver Campy at some point...
