question, when I view the forum on a firefox browser, the text box that I type new threads or replies in has a little expansion pull thingamabob in the lower right corner that I can use to increase the box size. in IE11, I see now that that's gone.

is there a way I can revive it or is that just an idiosyncrasy of this browser?

Sorry, I can't help you, but I gotta ask - why IE over literally anything else?

Firefox, Chrome, Etch-A-Sketch... all better than any IE browser.

It's (sort of) well-known that IE does not play well with some websites ... especially IE 11. Try running this site in compatibility mode. Also you can get the Zoom Factor in the same location as the compat view.

Go to Paceline Forum website and let it load
Look for a little cog-wheel in upper right corner of the browser window
click it and pull down to either Zoom or Compat View
Choose the zoom level you want
Then go back and choose compatibility view
it will open a new box on the left side with the URL of the site in the top (small)box
click 'add' in lower right
it will redraw the page
It should 'remember' this site in compat view for future visits
zoom stays the same for all pages

See how that works

just tried it, no go with the box enlarging magic.

i'm on ie11 because it's not edge. I may go back to firefox at some point, but it tends to bog down and hang with the print preview add-on I like to use.

chrome printing sux. just sux

anything else I should try? i'm thinking maybe opera?

Here's a link to C-Net with a whole load of free options:

http://download.cnet.com/s/browsers-web/windows/

I'm in no way affiliated with C-Net, but their downloads are (usually) pretty clean. You might check SourceForge for possible others. I didn't look there.
