Anyone else have problems with the Arione saddles? I've had one crack, and the leather cover has come off two others.

I had issues with the cover peeling off the saddle too, but got rid of it because the Specialized Alias fit me much better.

I've had a couple of covers come off too, Fizik has been good about warrantying them for me. One thing I've noticed on both of the saddles, the riders used copius amounts of bag balm on their junk. Maybe there is something in the goop?

. . . and small rips on the edges from leaning it against stuff, but other than that no problems. It's one of the most comfortable saddles I've used.

Mine has about a 2-inch crack, but not all the way through, adjacent to the left seam. I continue to ride it and it hasn't gotten any worst, but nevertheless I am disappointed to pay that kind of money and not get the quality.

I've got em on all my bikes. And they all crack after between 12 and 18 months. And my LBS just replaces them and sends the cracked ones back to Fizik. So, I get to use the most comfortable saddle I've found and Fizik's profits go up in smoke. I've been wondering if I'll manage to break them.....

Now that's interesting as I'm a big taint cream user.

just noticed a crack in the middle-ish area of my Arione, waiting for warranty.

cracked a piece on my old pave, and they replaced it.

and I'm only 150lbs...

weight limit is 149 pounds. you are too fat for the saddle.

I've also worn through the cover on two Ariones (Arioni?) on the nose of the saddle due to thigh rub. Neither have cracked however. As much as I love the Arione, the thought of having to replace them yearly is a little prohibitive.

the one I have broke in half. I don't have the slip for it, wonder if they'd replace it?
