C III with some braze-ons for me fenders
same geo as my legend so it shold be
fun to compare the two.

I'd like to thank doof for still making me
believe that a steel bike isn't a bad purchase
I left Serotta up to how she will ride.
It could be one hell of a race bike.

Did you specify enough clearance for fenders too? Anything with short reach brakes can be a problem unless they're pretty specific about the bridge placement and which fork they use. I have a bike for short reach brakes that was specifically designed for max clearance and I can only go up to most 25s (a true 23 - Michelin 25s don't fit) with dual pivot brakes. With a lot of bikes, even a 23 would be a tight fit if even possible. I can get fatter tires in there with a set of old single-pivots, but I'm assuming that's not in your plan.

I gave this alot of thought over the last six months
and have thus decided that I never run any tyre
that is much bigger than a true 25. My primary
issue was to have a bike made exactly like my
other. I really don't mind custom fender installs
so fender clearance wasn't much of an issue either.
Sounds like you're going in with your eyes open and knew the options. So ENJOY!
