With the new website redesign, it seems as though Velonews is trying to emulate Cyclingtips...

Whitespace is definitely a good thing, but it seems like there is too much on both sites.

Looks so much cleaner than the mess it used to be. I'm sure its just a CMS template like cyclingtips. Really, everyone has been copying the NYT's site design for the last 10 years.

People are going to look back at that home page some day. And see it as either a master piece of a monstrosity.... sort of like this.
