As I was walking down the street in Cambridge this evening, I overheard a father and (young) son talking about today's game. I'm guessing they were at the park... Father: "Did you like it?" Son: "Kinda." Father: "Kind of? Why?" Son: "Why do they call him Big Papi? That's a stupid name..."

In light of all the drug scandles going on, didn't Big Papi respond recently to questioning by stating: "they can test me, the only thing they will find in my blood is rice & beans".

Oh, and by the way, page two news, Randy Johnson pitched 7 STRONG innings, no walks and four hits of shut out pitching. Jason Giambi hit two home runs and drove in all five of the teams runs. As you were.... :D

what's "clutch" in spanish? as folks were leaving the office yesterday, with the game heading into extra innings, people were saying, geez, you can't expect big papi to come thru_every_time. why not? :D
