who do you think vino will jump to now that his team is not going to the tour? i can't iamgine that t-mobile would take him back given all the proximity to the scandal they have in front of them. same goes with disco.

hope he finds a good ride... i don't know why they get intot his stuff right beofre the tour and not in the off-season.

bro he might end up in cement shoes but i wouldn't mind him on a team with no g.c. rider tht lost their ace in the hole sprinter at the giro

have a thing with Lance. See the paragraph beginning "Ullrich, 32...". Could have said six or seven, for that matter.

It'll end up in the Court of Arbitration for Sport. If the ASO are unable to can a ProTour team by reason of the relevant UCI rules, then the team will remain in the TdF, even if it requires a trip to CAS. But it means the race is going to start with a whole lot of negative publicity ala 1998.

I'd rather see ASO clean-up the race of ALL possible distractions BEFORE it begins. I'd rather see Alessandro Ballan (!) win the race than watch a repeat of '98.

he'll land with a 2 year ban.

Don't see how Vino comes out unscathed. With T-Mobile and Wurth right in the middle of the controversy, I'd be shocked if Vino doesn't end up in trouble.

Too bad - he's the closest thing to Jalabert we have nowadays.

but if the tour tries to axe wurth based on what the spanish paper published, where do they stop? if they axe wurth, how can they not axe jan? have they got the balls to dis-invited jan based on press reports? and if not jan, then why wurth? very tangled all this...quite the can of doped worms.

You mean Vino mainlines pot belge?

Perhaps! ;) if you saw some of those Kamikaze moves in '03 & '05, you'd certainly think so.

Obviously Roux didn't get the good stuff.

if a guy is on a team that is not participating,
and the race starts in 6 days, how could the guy
possibly get a start? if he gets on another team
in the small window of time left, i'd consider it
as farcical (sp?) as the p.e.d. issue itself atmo.

exactly

the only place he's landing is on some russo-italian hooker along with konyshev
