I'm sure you read the thread I'm looking for a new bike for my father. Colorado Cyclist is blowing out the litespeed Firenze with Easton carbon fork for $999.00. I can build it with the Ultegra Triple for another $999.00. This is a killer deal for $2000.00. Any feed back on the Firenze? He is rough on his bikes so Ti would be ideal.

I had a Litespeed Firenze. I thought it was a pretty nice frame and well built. The only reason I didn't keep it was because it didn't fit me. If they have the size and geometry you're looking for, I'd say go for it.

I'd agree. If the sizing works, it's great value.

I happen to think the Firenza is the nicest frame they make.
All the rest of the shaped crap is ugly. I much prefer the finish
too, simple and classic.

How big is he?

I got one but then took it back (30 day trial period) as it wasn't stiff enough for me. Then again I'm a pretty big guy (200+ and 5'6"). Ride was quite smooth and I enjoyed it for just going out and about, but for sprinting or going up hill it felt like a bit of a noodle.

was the Firenze the one that listed for $2000 as a complete bike last year?
