My wife has a Serotta Fierte and has requested that I put some different tires on it for her. She would like a tire with some tread. She may also prefer the widest tire that I can fit on there. I think there are 23's on there now.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Mike

I have gotten several different 28s on the Ti and Ti/Carbon rear ends without issue - Conti 4-season 28s, Open Pave CGIII 27s, stretched-out Michelin Pro4 25s, Pasela TG 28s, Vittoria Rando Cross 28s, Clement LGG 28s. These all cleared the F3 fork up front too, BTW. I think I would run out of room in the fork before the frame, but I'd say a skinny 30 is about as big as I'd want to try out back. EDIT: all tires were on Open Pros. I'd probably stick with 28s max on wider rims.

Used both Conti 25c 4000s & 28c 4Seasons on my iT and had room to spare running DT Swiss rr585 rims.

I recently put the new Specialized S-Works Turbos in 28 on my CDA with the carbon rear end and F3 fork. They should work on your Fierte. These are very nice tires that are on sale until May 31 on a Bogo special, meaning you can get two for $55.
