Designed around perfect proportions, or some sh*t like that.

A little expensive, but not bad looking.

How much? Try $17 k

I think someone's been smokin something laced with heroin.

Ridley was using the same design years ago, and they took that from F1 industry. No idea if there was another company before than them tho.

Nice bike, i give them that, trying to be special, marketing doesnt work too much in medium to hardcore riders tho.

We ums is not the target market, looks like a Rob Report or
Cigar Aficionado special. I love the African Sheep hair
covered saddle with NATO grade sniper padding,
it's has EPIC written all over it.

Well, bike is kinda cool looking

Pricey

Silly marketing epicness is really annoying, I guess it works on some people.

Remember when SDG made bulletproof seats?

so what's that come out to... Off the top of my head... Like a $11,000 frame set? Giving quite a bit in rim value. And it's not even custom

"The Heroin honeycombed texture, an extremely promising technical solution is molded into each tube in the areas that are most exposed to air resistance. The resulting depressions modify the air flow of air, thus maximizing the bike’s aerodynamic profile. This effect, which was made possible by years of work in wind tunnels, delivers an extraordinary riding sensations: at just 12 mph, the Cx is boosted by almost 10%." HWHAAAT?!?!?!

The name Heroin does not say perfection to me. Bad, bad choice.

A better choice would have been Addict! Wait, that name is already used - the Scott Addict! Good Luck!

Just wait 3 months - that's when the truly ultimate bike will be out. And if it isn't, just wait a bit more, a new "latest and greatest" is available every quarter.

Heroin? Really? Can we start a company called methodone? Will they have an Ian Curtis model soon that is brilliant but self-destructs just as it hits its stride? Lordy.

Also interesting that they are following Speevagen's lead in not making bikes for people over say 6'1. XL has a 56 top tube. Hmmm.

It's a bicycle shaped golf ball!

Shouldn't it have zip wheels at a minimum, then?

Actually, XL top tube is 58.5 cm.

Kudos to them for dreaming, and for trying, and for making a really nice looking website with cool photos.

There's a sucker born every minute...

(OK so Wikipedia says it probably wasn't Barnum, but you know what I mean)

And another thing, while the website was pretty, it was also low on information. How exactly do they adjust fit via the integrated magical mystery stem bit of business? And another thing, a seat post on a high zoot frame? No seat mast? And another another thing: $17,000 and lots of mumbo jumbo about Eurpopean goodness, and they choose Shimano Di2 over Campy EPS. Really?

I thought this was a joke. It looks like they photoshopped the front end of a Venge to the back half of a Canyon. And the ad copy? Crafting a beautiful harmomy between body and machine? I was expecting to scroll down and see Derek Zoolander swimming across the screen in a merman costume.

Yes, I laughed at that. The reason the golf ball improves it's aero-ness through dimples has to do with spin (the dimples actually scoop air and throw it behind the ball as it travels). A golf ball spins at between 3,000-12 000 RPM. Ideally, your bike frame should not spin like that. I guess their team of engineers missed that one during their years of studying in the wind tunnel.

Funny..Heroin, "The Heroin bike is the first racing bike of its kind. It is designed and assembled in France, from parts manufactured in Italy by craftsmen of exceptional know-how and an unmatched mastery of carbon.

'cept it has shimano Di2..why heroi, why not like Herpes...
