I have a vintage LeMond Tourmalet that I'm building up wheels for. I have a NIB NOS Campagnolo Veloce 9 Speed Exa-Drive rear hub that I need a lock ring for.

I found this thread using search.

And I found this useful website.

Just to confirm, most likely I need the 26mm lock ring, which is of a smaller diameter than other Campagnolo lock rings?

The 26mm lockrings also have "9 SPEED" stamped on them.

Correct for both above. Vecchio's has them, BTW-about $24.

I must confess, despite years (decades) in bike shops I know less about Campagnolo than I should.

It's a bit of a drive, Denver to Boulder, but I've been meaning to pay a visit to Vecchio's. I like old school bike shops, slightly dirty, disheveled, but loaded with history.
