My American Classic aero track wheels use this fastener which they call a Shook Integrated Bolt System instead of track nuts. I would rather have a bolt with a standard 15mm that is knurled on the back rather than the 10mm Allen these use. I'm told it exists but what do I call it and where would I find it? I know that a metric 10 has a 15mm head - so a fine thread with a serrated back to lock to the dropout is what I'm looking for, I think. I could be way off. Thanks.

Hey... nice Silca tool you got there.

Would a square taper crank bolt be the correct size?

Edit: I guess most of them aren't knurled.

Your question is unclear to me,

R u trying to convert these so that they take regular track nuts?

I guess you could get some all thread in the size they are threaded, loctite it in the axle , and then run nuts.

Not sure what thread the bolts are, are they the same thread front and back?

Wait, I re read it.

You just want bolts with hex heads?

Go to mcmastercarr.com

Wait, why not just add some knurling to the cool washers those bolts came with?

M8, fine thread...1mm? Flange head, knurled? Probably don't want stainless. McMaster Carr should have it.
