Black socks are so dorky they're cool. And they give you an excuse for not being tan: "Of course I don't look tan when I wear these black socks!"

they are blue socks. i have to wear them.. bergamo and capo sponsor the team. bergamo makes the most awesome kit and well.. the socks look really good on tall people. i've learned to fold them down before and after the race. they had to fit the whole big brothers /big sisters logo on the sock... and in an emegency i can use them as a sleeping bag.

it's also become a little Los Angeles trend to rock the tall dress sock. not really hot for the short pale man in your life. capo makes a shorter sock... this one goes to 11.

Most of the races I've seen in the past two years have been 'cross races here in the PNW. Trebon and the other tall skinny fast guys have also joined the tall black sock mafia.

It's a good shot. If you don't tan well, you could consider the bicep and/or calf tattoos...
