This was tandem #2 for my wife and I and we really enjoyed riding it all around Northeastern NY. We are now looking to make our way toward something with bigger tire clearance for off road adventures!

This is one of the last tandems Cannondale made in the USA.
-Sizing from Cannondale is J/M (I am 6'2 and my wife is 5'10... fits me fine up front, but probably not someone much shorter. The rear fits her great. Someone a bit taller would be ok, and someone down to 5'4 or so should be ok... maybe even a little smaller if they are flexible)
-Shimano 6603 Ultegra shifters and front derailleur, 105 (5700) rear derailleur (for capacity), 52-39-30 FSA Tandem crank, 11-30 Shimano cassette
-Avid BB7 Road calipers with new brake pads, rotors, cables and housing about 200 miles ago
-40h White Industry Hubs, Continental Gatorskin Tires (32c)
-Cane Creek Thudbuster ST seatpost in Stoker position
-Many different saddles to choose from
-Shimano M324 pedals (flat on 1 side and SPD on the other) for both riders
-Racks, bags, and bottle cages not included in the sale

Contact me if you are interested and want to take a look. The new version of this bike costs over $3500 and is not nearly as nice as this one.

Asking $2300

Delivery can be arranged around Northeastern NY and other surrounding areas... I would rather not ship this.

Great Sacandaga Lake and Thatcher Park? Looks like we have similar tastes in riding routes. Great tandem at a fair price!

I have the T2, which is the newest version of this bike. (Fork and headtube are a bit different, and a few other things) If it's bigger tires you are after, you might want to consider 650b wheel size. That's what I am doing. I fully expect to fit 42mm tires on there, and perhaps even the new Compass 48mm Switchback Hill.

Not sure that would play very well with those dormant canti-stud mounts on the fork...

5 minutes with a bastard file on each side and Robert's your mother's brother.

I wish I had funds for this in the bike budget. Since tire clearance has been mentioned, the Cannondale tandems I.ve had would fit pretty large tires. What is the clearance on this generation?

I've run 38c with some room to spare on this one
