I will be in Phoenix next Thursday for work. With a little luck, I might be able to rent a mountain bike and get a ride in on Friday before I leave. Can anyone recommend a place to rent a bike near South Mountain? Prefer a very good 150-160mm travel full-suspension bike.
Anyone want to ride early early Friday with me? Planning on Mormon to National to Buena Vista back on National.

Cactus Bike on Elliot, about a 5 minute ride to the trails from there. Have a post ride burrito at Los Taquitos in the same parking lot.

Thanks! Sounds like a Kona Process 153, a Los Taquitos Burrito, and a 4pm flight out of Skyharbor is my Friday. Not bad!

Los Taquitos has beer too, if that helps the excitement level at all. Sounds like a mighty fine way to waste a day in that town! Don't forget sunscreen and a lot of water when you're on the mountain.

Damn ! I have this pesky thing called client presentation mid morning or else I would've joined in the fun.
You should have amazing weather Friday but like JAG mentioned......there is zero cover out there so plan accordingly

I'll be blocking you from my Instagram feed that day as I'm already a bit jealous!
You can do anything on a HT, depending on your pain tolerance. National is a beast.

Looks like the weather will be more tolerable this Friday than next, triple digits coming.

Yeeeep, tomorrow is forecasted as first triple digit day of year :(
Lots of rocks and steps . Plenty of riders and hikers to call the EMS when you crash. Big fun
