I had been looking at the new Cielo Base Racer which uses the new Enve GRD fork as a potential new bike. After looking at the Geometry think I could get basically the same set up by simply swapping the Enve CX Disc fork for the GRD fork on my Warbird. It's 13mm shorter which would effectively give me similar geometry to the Base Racer.
The CBR has
HTA 72.5
STA 73
BB-drop 74
My WB would have with the same GRD Fork
HTA 72.69
STA 73.16
BB-drop 75.2
My main issue with the 58cm Warbird is how tall the front end is and this would help some with that and probably quicken it up just a bit which wouldn't hurt.
Other than a new headset, brake adapter and 12mm end caps for my wheel does anyone see a downside to this?
